Wheatgerm oil enriched with vitamin E, containing 671 mg D-α-tocopherol per 100 g, equivalent to 1000 IU vitamin E per 100 g oil. Lipigran 1000 provides vitamin E in concentrated form.
Lipigran 1000 Weizenkeimöl plus produced according to the method of Dr phil. nat. F. Grandel is especially mild in taste, because some of the acid has been gently removed.
From 100 kg of wheat, these milling machines can produce around 200 g fresh wheatgerm, which in turn provides only 10 g wheatgerm oil. As early as 1930, Dr Felix Grandel, as chemist and nutritional scientist, was investigating the natural substances of wheatgerm oil and their importance for a healthy diet.
The high proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids is particularly noteworthy. The use of polyunsaturated fatty acids instead of saturated fatty acids in the diet contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood. The rich amount of vitamin E acts as antioxidant. It helps protect the body’s cells from oxidative stress.
