Cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon) are native in North America. Botanically, they belong to the family of heathers or ericaceae and are related to our native cowberry (Vaccinium vitis idaea).
The cranberry also named as checkerberry contains secondary plant substances so called proanthocyanidins. Cranberries have been already appreciated as food by american natives in former times.
Cranberry Taler contain a concentrate of cranberries together with vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
The fruity, slightly tart-tasting cranberries are carefully concentrated and processed together with other fruit concentrates into Cranberry Taler. Each Cranberry Taler contains 12 mg proanthocyanidins (PAC) and 75 mg vitamin C.
